High purity epoxy resin

In 2018, 71 Electric founded ‘Polimu’, a sister company dedicated to the development and manufacture of epoxy insulating materials for electrical power industry.

Polimu epoxy materials are especially designed for vacuum casting (VC) and Automatic Pressure Gelation (APG) casting, which make them notably suitable for the manufacture of epoxy insulators for switchgears and instrument transformers. Polimu materials cover both indoor and outdoor applications, and notably feature V0 and 5VA-grade flame retardant epoxy resin. Polimu materials also include outdoor cycloaliphatic epoxy with high hydrophobicity performance which can be used in substitution of silicone.

While being still a young brand, Polimu know how is already widely recognized both in China and overseas: Polimu has indeed notably been homologated by China State Grids, and by global leading switchgears manufacturers for their insulators production.
